Executive Director since early 2005. Dykstra received her BA in Economics from Wake Forest University and has over 15 years experience in social work, including four years as Director of the Economic Success Program at The Center for Women and Families in Louisville, KY. She serves on the board of both the Louisville chapter of Dress for Success as well as Urban Spirit, an organization that works to educate people about poverty. Dykstra focuses both on direct services as well as advocacy for the importance of education, and truly believes that to educate a mother is to bless her child.

Kristie Adams M.Ed.
Kristie Nicholson Adams joined Project Women as the Program Director in July 2008. She received her Bachelors of Science in Criminal Justice and Masters of Education in Counseling Psychology from the University of Louisville. Kristie has spent 11 years advocating for children and families as well as designing programs for children. She also holds a Kentucky Early Childhood Trainer's Credential as a Specialty Trainer in the area of Domestic Violence and children. Kristie comes from a family of educators and her husband teaches at Atherton High School.
Academic Advisor
Laura Rausch
Laura Rausch has joined Project Women's Staff as Academic Advisor. Rausch earned her BS in Psychology from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor in 2004 and is completing her research proposal to finish her MA in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Austin Peay State University. Rausch is eager to continue her passion for working with children and families in an educational setting.

Jocelyn Fetalver, MSSW
Jocelyn Fetalver, Case Manager for Project Women graduated with a Masters from the Raymond A. Kent School of Social Work at the University of Louisville. Fetalver has served families and children in many diverse settings throughout Kentucky. She is passionate about the mission and dedicated to serving the women and children of Project Women.
Intake Specialist
Gioia (Joya) Gibbons
Gioia (Joya) Gibbons has joined the Project Women staff as Intake Specialist. She earned her BA in Business Administration from Sacred Heart University in Connecticut in 1985. Gioia has a passion for the mission of Project Women, and is excited to be a part of such a dynamic and empowering organization. She is married to Greg Gibbons, and they have three children.
